August 25, 2020 - Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and community members attended a new member ribbon cutting at The Red Brick Social House on Tuesday, August 25th with its owner Laura Harris.
"We need to give Mrs. Laura a hand for opening this place. And we welcome you to our community; we are so glad that you are open. The facility is absolutely beautiful," said Chamber Ambassador President Stephanie Elswick. She then invited Laura to talk about the new venue.
"When Susan (Bush) and I came to look at it and it was completely sectioned off on the inside, it had like nine different offices in it. It was not wide open but I knew that it had been built as a church in 1935 so I knew that it had the capability of being open," explained Susan. She continued to share the process that brought them to today with the venue ready to welcome all for some 'good gatherings' in the spirit of the buildings original purpose.
Make sure you stop by to see one of Center’s new event venues. The Red Brick Social House is located at 410 Nacogdoches Street, at the Corner of Nacogdoches and Wheeler Streets. To call for more information, call 936-591-1278.
