September 23, 2026 (Photo Album) - Many Shelby Countians flocked to downtown Center for the kick off of the 50th East Texas Poultry Festival with the 2026 Doo Dah Parade. Several businesses, organizations, and contestants from the Poultry Festival pageant decorated their rides to impress the crowd. The Junior Chamber of Commerce members led the way around the square. The Poultry Festival opens Thursday, October 1st at 10am and runs through Saturday, October 3rd.
