June 26, 2026 —C.A.V.E. Basketball (Caring About Vision & Expansion) is excited to announce a free youth basketball skills camp scheduled for Saturday, July 4th from 9am to 12 noon at the Shelby County Family Life Center, located at 1426 1/2 Shelbyville Street in Center, Texas.
The camp is open to youth ages 9-12 and is designed to help young athletes develop fundamental basketball skills while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants will receive hands-on instruction in essential basketball techniques, including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and basic game strategy. Experienced coaches and mentors will be on-site to guide participants of all skill levels.
“This camp is about more than just basketball,” organizers shared. “Our goal is to encourage discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles while providing a safe and positive space for young people in our community.”
