August 14, 2025 - Center Alumni Hall of Honor Nominations are now being accepted for the Center High School Hall of Honor Award.
Nomination submission deadline is Saturday, August 30, 2025. The Hall of Honor recipient will be recognized during this year's Homecoming festivities that will begin on Friday, September 19th. The Hall of Honor Award will be presented during the Annual Alumni Meeting on Saturday, September 20th at 10am. Thanks to all Center High Alums, we look forward to seeing you for Homecoming!
Nominations may be sent to: Center Alumni Association, C/O Center High School Hall of Honor, PO Box 1622, Center, Texas 75935.
CRITERIA:
1. Recipient must be an ex-student or ex-faculty member.
2. The date of his/her graduation or the termination of his/her last attendance at Center High School must have preceded the award by at least 20 years. Faculty members must be retired.
3. Must have made a distinctive contribution to his/her profession or vocation of such nature as to justify pride on the part of the school for its part in the contribution.
4. Must have evidenced a continuing interest in the support of Center High School in such manner as to merit the receipt of the award.
5. Any ex-student, faculty member, or citizen may nominate and ex-student or faculty member for this award by sending a letter to the president of the Alumni Association, pointing out why you have nominated this person.
6. Nominee is expected in attendance of Annual Alumni Associational Meeting to receive award in person.
