Center ISD Celebrates National FFA Week Feb. 21-28

February 20, 2026 - Center FFA is getting ready to celebrate National FFA Week, February 21 - 28th!

CHS superintendent Jake Henson signed the FFA Week Proclamation, while CHS Principal Heath Hagler and CHS FFA members looked on. Since 1948, National FFA has recognized the impact of agriculture to our country. National FFA week always encompasses George Washington's birthday, and honors the heritage of American agriculture.

Center FFA will be celebrating the week with dress up days, The Great Owl Hunt game, Radio spots on Center Broadcasting stations, community service project - "One Box Food Drive," and Friday morning FFA members will be greeting  F.L. Moffett students as they arrive.

We ask you to join us in community service by donating to the local food bank this week and in honoring agriculture by wearing National Blue and Corn Gold on Friday! If you would like to support or donate to Center FFA please contact Center FFA advisors Shana Brittain, John Brown, Erin Griffin or Bryan Parker at Center High School.

National FFA Week Feb. 21-28 Proclamation

Whereas, FFA and agricultural education provide a strong foundation for the youth of America and the future of food, fiber, and natural resources systems; and
Whereas, FFA promotes premier leadership, personal growth and career success among its members; and
Whereas, agricultural education and FFA ensure a steady supply of young professionals to meet the growing needs in the science, business, and technology of agriculture; and
Whereas, the FFA motto - "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve" - gives direction and purpose to these students who take an active role in succeeding in agricultural education; and
Whereas, FFA promotes citizenship, volunteerism, patriotism and cooperation.
Therefore, I do hereby designate the week of Feb. 21-28, 2026, as National FFA Week.
