January 23, 2026 - Shelby County Precinct 4 is accepting sealed bids for one (1) 12' x 24' portable building equipped with window air conditioning and heat.
The building may be inspected at the Precinct 4 County Barn, located at 13321 State Highway 87 N, Timpson, Texas, between the hours of 6:30am and 3pm. For after‑hours viewing, contact Mr. Bellmyer at (936) 254‑4571.
The buyer will be responsible for all costs and arrangements associated with moving the building.
Sealed bids may be submitted by U.S. Mail to Shelby County Courthouse, 200 San Augustine Street, Box A, Center, TX 75935, or delivered in person to the Commissioners’ Secretary Office, located on the first floor of the Shelby County Courthouse.
The envelope must be clearly marked: “SEALED BID – PORTABLE BUILDING.”
All submissions must be received no later than 3pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
Bids will be opened on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 9:30am in the Shelby County Courthouse during Commissioners Court.
