May 13, 2026 - Commissioner Roscoe McSwain has updated the status of the project taking place on CR 1005.
Following extensive bridge work at the Mill Creek crossing, the bridge is slated to re-open today, Wednesday, May 13. While the trackhoe Precinct 1 has rented is still available for use, work is transitioning to the east where a culvert is being placed to manage the overflow of another waterway.
Travelers through this area are encouraged to use caution and plan an alternate route to avoid construction.
