David’s Daily Devotion for March 7

March 7, 2022 - It’s Monday, March 7.

The men of our church are meeting for a prayer breakfast this morning at a local restaurant.  We’ll do this every three months, with smaller prayer groups meeting weekly.  Men need the fellowship of other Christian men - sharing our journey, our praises and challenges, praying for each other.

I’m reminded of something that was said at this past weekend’s women’s conference.  The keynote speaker was teaching on prayer and said, “your prayers will outlive you.”  What an exciting thought, that as we pray for our children and grandchildren, our country and our churches, these prayers remain active and activated.  Even after we’ve gone on to heaven, the legacy of our prayers will still continue.  Powerful!

In Ephesians 6:18 the Apostle Paul gives us this instruction - "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

Meet you back here tomorrow.

Prayerfully,
Bro. David
