Have you heard about these people that read the last chapter of a book first? It’s a thing. And now that streaming services put out a whole season of TV shows at one time, I guess they watch the last one of those first too.
The urge to know the future is wired into our DNA. It’s what keeps all those palm readers and fortune tellers in business. But Isaiah 46:9-11 tells us that there is only One who knows what lies ahead.
“I am God and there is no other,
I am God, and there is none like me.
I make known from the start, from ancient times, and what is still to come.”
When we skip to the end of His Book (Rev. 22), God reminds us that He is "the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End".
