What’s your favorite book of the Bible? I imagine you have one. The book that you know better than all the rest. The book that you have turned to and returned to time and time again. The book that, more than any other, has shaped and guided your spiritual journey.
Biblegateway.com is one of the world’s most popular online scripture sites. They did a study, using search data, and came up with this list of “favorite” Bible books.
#5 - Proverbs. Want to be as wise as Solomon? Here’s the place to start.
#4 - Romans. A wise man once said that this book was “the most profound discussion of the most profound subject... salvation.”
#3 - John. My favorite. And it contains the world’s favorite verse (3:16).
#2 - Matthew. The Sermon on the Mount. The Lord’s Prayer. The Wise Men.
#1 - Psalms. “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” Enough said.
