November 3, 2026 - Good Morning! It’s Tuesday, November 3.
Every month has some special days, except August, for some reason. No holidays in August, just hot days. But November has two big holidays. There’s the 11th, Veteran’s Day, and the 4th Thursday, Thanksgiving. Next week, in honor of our vets, we’ll do a series on the stories behind our patriotic songs. And the last week of the month, we’ll focus on thankfulness.
Oh, I almost forgot about another notable November day. It falls on the first Tuesday of the month in even numbered years. Election Day! I hope you’re planning to vote, or maybe you voted early. Almost 8 million Texans did this year, an all-time record. Whatever your party or affiliation or political views, we can all agree on one thing. This is an important election.
Here’s a verse from the Proverbs, from a wise leader, King Solomon. “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through wise advisers.” (11:4)
Meet you back here tomorrow,
David
