David's Daily Devotion for September 12

September 12, 2024 - Good Morning! It's Thursday, September 12.

Last night, members of the First Baptist Center choir visited a home bound woman in our community. Once a month, instead of meeting for our regular mid-week rehearsal, we leave the church to go out and sing for someone who is no longer able to leave their house and come to church. This ministry has been going on for a year and a half and has been such a blessing to our singers.

Once in a while we all get a little down, a little depressed. That's life. But the quickest way to pull yourself out of that darkness is to bring a little light into the life of someone who is facing challenges much greater than yours. There are folks in your life, in your church, in your community that would be so blessed by a visit or a call or a card from you. And the biggest blessing, I guarantee, will be yours.

And the King shall reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters, you did for me." Matthew 25:40

Meet you back here tomorrow,
Bro. David
