September 15, 2022 - Good Morning! It's Thursday, September 15.
The legendary Indian leader Ghandi was raised as a Hindu, but always had a fascination with Christianity. He read through the gospels and was inspired by Christ. He wanted to learn more about Jesus and so he decided to attend a Christian church. But, at the entrance, Ghandi was rejected because of the color of his skin. Later, he was quoted as saying, “I would be a Christian, if it were not for Christians”.
We should be reminded that there are people all around us who may be seeking a relationship with God. And they are watching us, we who profess to be followers of Christ. As the old saying goes - Actions speak louder than words. And so our lives are living testimonies. A powerful opportunity. A powerful responsibility.
Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
