December 26, 2024 - A transformative 2-day Social and Emotional Learning Camp hosted by Hope Community Medicine is taking place on Monday and Tuesday, December 30th and January 2nd at 5:30pm to 7pm each day at 325 Tenaha Street, Center, Texas 75935.
Give your children (from ages 15-18) the opportunity to build important life skills at our 2-day Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Camp. This interactive and fun-packed camp is designed to help kids develop key emotional intelligence skills, such as self-awareness, empathy, resilience, and effective communication.
Topics for Each Day
- Day 1: Introduction of Mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Day 2: Applying DBT Techniques for Self-Awareness
The topics will be presented by Anabel Ventura LPC-A, supervised by Ashley Lawrence LPC-S, and Christa Gibbs LPC-A, supervised by Dr. Dan Wilkins PHD LPC-S.
