September 8, 2026 - The Texas Chapter of the Association of Consulting Foresters is accepting nominations for the Distinguished Forester of Texas Award, recognizing an outstanding forestry professional for their leadership, service and contributions to Texas forestry.

Nominations are due by Friday, September 18. Nominees do not have to be ACF members. The award will be presented at the President’s Banquet during the Texas Forestry Association Annual Conference on Thursday, October 29. The conference is October 28-30 at Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe.
