
September 2, 2026 - The National Weather Service issued at 5:57pm, Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at special weather statement.
A strong thunderstorm will impact northeaster Sabine Parish and Sabine; eastern San Augustine and southeastern Shelby Counties until 6:45pm.
At 5:57pm, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Rosevine, or 26 miles south of Center, moving north at 25 mph.
Radar indicated wind gusts up to 50 mph. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include Center, Milam, San Augustine, Hemphill, Pineland, Rosevine, Patroon, Bland Lake, Macune, Neuville, Shelbyville, Huxley, Sexton, Bronson, Jordans Store, Chinaquapin, Hurstown, Toledo Bend Reservoir North, Calgary and Yellowpine.
