December 17, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 26th Day of December, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Public comments on Agenda item.
2. Discuss and possibly approve PCT 1 Commissioner to advertise for bids for (1) new Haul truck.
3. Discuss and possibly approve Tuesday January 20th, 2026 (3:00 pm) as the deadline for submitting bids for (1) Haul truck with bids being opened and possibly awarded on Wednesday January 21st, 2026.
4. Discuss and possibly approve a longevity pay program for County Employees and Elected Officials.
5. Review and discuss the current personnel policy to define new hire and re-hire employees.
6. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
