April 1, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 8th day of April, 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: March 4th Special Meeting, March 11th Regular Meeting, March 18th Special Meeting and March 25th Special Meeting.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
4. Approve and pay current payroll.
5. Approve Officers Report.
6. Discuss and possibly take action on the current burn ban.
7. Linebarger, Goggan, Blair & Sampson LLP, to discuss text message alerts for resolving delinquent accounts.
8. District Attorney, Karren Price to present the SART Report to the Court.
9. Discuss and possibly approve the quote from Cornerstone Construction for the upgrades to the Courthouse parking areas.
Executive Session:
10. An Executive Session will also be held for the purpose of discussing personnel, hearing complaints, against personnel, or to deliberate the appointed, employment evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee. The closed session is authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.074
11. Reopen Public Meeting
12. Discuss and possibly make a decision on issues in Executive Session
13. Commissioners' Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
