Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 13th day of August, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of: July 2nd Special Meeting, July 9th Regular Meeting, July 16th Special Meeting, July 16th Budget Workshop Meeting and July 30th Special Meeting.
2. Approve weekly expenses.
3. Approve current payroll.
4. Public comments on agenda item.
5. Approve officers report.
6. Record the notification letter received from the Texas Commission of Jail Standards on August 4th, 2025 that the Shelby County Jail has demonstrated the facility to be in full compliance with no deficiencies noted on the most recent inspection dated July 29, 2025.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the proposal from Architexas for architectural services for the historical jail window restoration.
8. Discuss and possibly approve the proposal from Architexas for architectural services for the renovation of the Shelby County AgriLife Gym and office.
9. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
