August 8, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 9" day of August, 2023 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of July 5, 2023 special meeting, July 5, 2023 Budget Workshop,July 12, 2023 Regular meeting, July 26, 2023 special meeting of the Shelby county commissioners court.
2. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
3. Approve Officers Report.
4. Public comments on Agenda item.
5. Tax Assessor-Collector, Debora Riley to submit 2023 calculated rates.
6. Discuss and take action to retain or remove local optional fees, for the calendar year 2023, (Chapter 502 of the Transportation code).
7. Tax Assessor-Collector to present Continuing Education Transcript per Texas Property Tax code 6.231.
8. Discuss and take action to end or renew yearly contract with Computer Information Concepts for the Tax Office.
9. Discuss and possibly take action on shelving from JP#1's office which are stored at the Sheriff's Office.
10. Discuss a possible exchange of vehicles between Constable #4 and #5.
11. Discuss and possibly appoint Kerri Shofner as Assistant Emergency Management Coordinator.
12. Adjourn.
