February 21, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 26th of February, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Approve and pay current payroll.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Discuss and possibly upgrade to the cloud-based software management court system offered by iDocket.
5. Discuss and possibly approve County Clerk, Jennifer Fountain to purchase Property Fraud Alert from Fidlar to be purchased from her Records Management Budget.
6. Discuss and possibly adopt a plan to evaluate the need to repair and/or replace the Courthouse windows.
7. Discuss and possibly approve Shelby County’s inclusion within the requested service area of the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) for the Texas Forest Country Partnership application and authorization to expend $1,636.00 to pay Shelby County’s portion of the fee to the consultant.
8. Discuss and possibly approve the Federal Fiscal Year 2026 County Child Welfare Services Non-Financial Agreement for a period of seven (7) years.
9. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
