December 4, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 10th Day of December, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the Minutes of the following meetings: 11/5/25 Special Meeting • 11/12/25 Regular Meeting • 11/19/25 Special Meeting and 11/26/25 Special Meeting.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Approve Weekly Expenses.
4. Announce the closure of the Courthouse and County Offices on Friday December 12th, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 1:30 for the annual county employee Christmas luncheon.
5. Discuss and possibly change or cancel the Commissioner’s Court meeting date of Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve) which is a County Holiday.
6. Discuss and approve the surplus items from the Sheriff’s Department to be sold at auction.
7. Discuss and take action on the 5-year renewal agreement between the office of Shelby County Tax Assessor-Collector, Debora Riley and Texas Park & Wildlife to continue or discontinue as a participating Agent for Boat Titling and Registration. TPWD code sec 31.0341
8. Discuss and possibly take action on the HVAC system at the Historical Courthouse.
9. Discuss and approve the Proposal from Isch Plumbing for repairs at the AgriLife building.
10. Commissioners' Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
