October 7, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 10th day of October, 2016 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of the September 12, 2016 Regular Meeting, the September 26, 2016 Special Meeting, and the Budget Meeting September 26, 2016 of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court.
2. Approve and pay the monthly expenses.
3. Approve Officers' Reports.
4. Public Comments on Agenda items.
5. Sherry Riley will present for approval the grant application for the Veterans' Transportation Assistance Program.
6. Consider and approve accepting bids for demolition of the old Shelby General Hospital.
7. Consider and approve 2016 DOT Drug Testing Agreement with Compliance Management, LLC.
8. Non Action Item - Record open meeting of the Adult Shelby County Community Supervision and Correction Departments.
9. Adjourn to Executive Session.
Executive Session
10. An executive session will be held for the purpose of receiving an update from the law firm of Flowers and Davis. This closed session is authorized by the Texas Open Meeting Act, Texas Government Code Session 551.071.
