Shelbyville ISD Recognized for Commitment to Workplace Safety, Cost Control

April 13, 2026 - Claims Administrative Services, Inc. (CAS) is pleased to recognize Shelbyville ISD, one of more than 300 school districts and colleges participating in the CAS workers’ compensation risk pool program, for its continued commitment to workplace safety and effective loss control.

Shelbyville ISD was recognized during the annual CAS client appreciation event, held on January 25, 2026, during the TASA Midwinter Conference in San Antonio. The Billy E. Hibbs Safety Award highlights members who demonstrate strong performance in implementing proactive safety initiatives that help reduce workplace incidents and manage workers’ compensation costs.

As part of its recognition, Shelbyville ISD received a $500 Annie Ozella Jones Scholarship to award to a deserving student of its choosing, extending the impact of its safety efforts beyond the workplace and into the community.
