Jennifer Fountain, Shelby County Clerk, has stated that her office will be closed on Thursday-Friday, October 1-2, 2026, with the expectation of there being no available parking, and the entire square where the county clerk's office is located being blocked to traffic. Debora Riley, Shelby County Tax Assessor-Collector, has also adjusted the times her office will be open on Thursday-Friday, October 1-2, 2026, from 8am until 1pm each day.
