November 5, 2021 Update - Starting today, Aurora Concepts is now offering Covid-19 vaccines on Fridays from 12noon until 4:30pm in the front building, Family Practice building. Pfizer shots for ages 5 to 11 are available. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) guidelines. CDC now recommends that children between the ages of 5 and 11 years receive the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine.

May 7, 2021 – Nacogdoches Medical Center (NMC) has earned another ‘A’ grade in the spring 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety survey, a national distinction recognizing NMC’s achievements providing safer health care. It is the 12th consecutive ‘A’ ranking for NMC. The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization committed to health care quality and safety. The Safety Grade is a letter grade assigned to hospitals across the country and updated every six months, assessing how well the hospital prevents medical errors and other harm to patients.
