December 21, 2025 - Due to a broken water main the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required The City of Huxley public water system (PWS) ID# 2100019 to notify all City of Huxley water customers that were without water on 12/21/2025 in the Harvey's Landing Community (CR 2481, CR 2490, CR 2496, CR 2501, Hooper Haven Rd., FM 2694 near Huxley Bay area) to boil their water, prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).
December 19, 2025 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 2100019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on December 11th, 2025 for any customers without water in Shelby Beach (CR 2650) and Rolling Hills (CR 2703 and CR 2704) to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
June 23, 2023 - The City of Huxley water quality report for January 1 to December 31, 2022 is now available. City of Huxley provides surface water from Toledo Bend Reservoir located in Shelby County.
December 30, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 210019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on December 23rd, 2022 and December 24th, 2022 for any customers without water to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
October 1, 2022 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Huxley public water system, PWS ID# 210019, to issue a Boil Water Notice on September 28th, 2022 for customers along FM 139 and FM 417E in Huxley to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
February 27, 2021 - The boil water notice for The City of Huxley has been lifted.
February 16, 2021 - Due to loss of pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Huxley Public Water System 2100019 to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).
February 25, 2021 - City of Huxley has two pallets of bottled drinking water available for distribution to the Huxley community starting today (February 25) until gone.
One pallet at City Hall and one pallet at Possum Trot.
