June 17, 2023 - The National Weather Service out of Shreveport, LA forecasts Shelby County will have a marginal chance for isolated thunderstorms this evening and overnight.
5:08pm Update: Power has returned at the Shelby County Today office, and although some portions of Center area have regained power, the north part of Center remains without power.
June 8, 2023 - The Shelby County Historic 1885 Courthouse will be closed today and tomorrow, June 8-9 due to air conditioning repairs. Plans are to reopen for tours on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
The Historic 1885 Courthouse will be close for a private event on Friday, June 23, 2023.

May 25, 2023 - Commissioner Tom Bellmyer announces County Road 4333 is now open for traffic. The culvert on CR 4333 that was washed out on April 26, 2023, during storm conditions has now been replaced with a bridge.
County Road 4333 is now open to all normal local traffic.
