May 8, 2022 - Both Texas Constitutional Amendments passed locally and statewide and both Center ISD Bonds passed during Saturday's Election Day with the following results:
May 6, 2022 - Today, May 7, 2022 is election day for many cities and schools around the county. Also, there is a Constitutional Amendment Election for two propositions and a Special Election for Center ISD Bond Propositions with both having the potential to affect property taxes.
All polling locations will be open from 7am - 7pm.

April 21, 2022 (Alert Flyer) - The Texas Department of Public Safety issued a silver alert for a missing elderly man out of Smith County, Tyler, Texas area.
April 19, 2022 - Ambassadors and community members attended a ribbon cutting at Refresquería Deleite on Thursday, April 14th to welcome the newest members of the Chamber of Commerce to the business community and congratulate them on a "dream come true."

March 16, 2022 - The Shelby County Commissioners's Court discussed appointing a Justice of the Peace for Precinct 4 during their March 16, 2022 meeting. The Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 office has been vacant since the passing of Judge Jackie Kirkwood on January 29, 2022.
