October 23, 2018 - Doug Fincher received this letter from Jack Fontaine (a lifetime friend) who also remembers The little Rock Inn.
October 15, 2018 - In 1947 my English teacher (Mrs. Stanton Memefee) called me to her desk and told me that “Sleepy” Hughes said I’d found a covey of quail. When I told her I had flushed a covey near the East Center airport, she asked me to shoot her one and bring it to class.

September 3, 2018 - Pam and I got into a discussion about hot peppers yesterday. I was telling her how my Dad could “chew up and swallow” the hottest peppers without batting an eye. “Since he grew up around Louisiana Cajuns, he ate the hot ones just like they did”, I said. But Pam wouldn’t be out-done.
