In God's Word by Mike Mills, Mar 13th

Peace of Christ

March 14, 2017 - Isaiah speaks of the perfect peace of those whose minds are focused on the Lord.

"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you." (Isaiah 26:3)

Jesus gave us this promise of peace before He ascended back to the Holy Father. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be afraid." (John 14:27)

In God's Word by Mike Mills, Mar 7th

March 7, 2017 - We are told today that truth is whatever we believe, that there is no absolute truth, only the truth of our thoughts. That truth is whatever we wish to make of it. Do not believe this for it is the great untruth, attempting to make humanity turn from the real truth of God to this great untruth. 
Don't be like those described by the Lord in Hosea; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)
 
Go and find the truth of God so you won't be destroyed by the great untruth of this world...

Forgiveness

February 28, 2017 - Such a simple term, such a difficult task at times. Forgiveness is the true test of the Christian's inner self, a true test of the level of faith in each of us.

"For if you forgive others their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14-15) This verse follows the Lord's Model Prayer which is (Matthew 6:9-13).

In God's Word by Mike Mills, Feb 21st

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not lean on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5) 

February 21, 2017 - The great king Solomon, the son of king David brings us these words in the book of Proverbs, the source of many of the wisest words of the Bible.

King Solomon advises us against depending upon our own opinions, but instead to trust in the Lord and not ourselves.

"In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:6) 

In God's Word By Mike Mills, Feb. 7

February 7, 2017 - "It is finished" (John 19:30) 
These were the last words spoken by Jesus before he gave up His spirit on the cross. 

The Bible says he bowed His head and gave up His life. With those three words, the most important and selfless act of service ever to be seen on this earth was completed.
The sins of mankind from the beginning of earth until the end of this age were, once and forever, paid-in-full by the Lord.

January 16, 2017 - "Arise and go down to the potters house, and there I will let you hear my words." So I went down to the potters house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potters hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do. Then the word of the Lord came to me: "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done?" Declares the Lord. "Behold, like the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel." (Jeremiah 18:2-6)

In God's Word by Mike Mills, Jan 11th

January 11, 2017 - As we look upon the light of a new day, a new year, let us have hope for a better time in 2017. Let us look forward to a closer walk with our Lord each day, let us do as the Lord instructs us in Psalm 27. "You have said, "seek my face." My heart says to You, "Your face, Lord do I seek." (Psalm 27:8)

We must seek His face daily if we are to walk closer with Him who is our refuge, our strength.
