In God's Word: Prayer

March 4, 2019 - When Jesus died on the cross of Calvary his death gave all who would come to him the venue by which anyone of us can come to the throne of God, at any time we choose. We come in prayer to speak with our Father, to ask him for help and sometime, just to offer thanks to him for what he has so graciously given us.

February 26, 2019 - The non-believer asks of the believer, “Just what is it that this Jesus that you speak of has done for you that makes you love him and speak of him so?

The apostle Paul explains what it is like as a believer to have the love of the Father and the Christ as he explains to the church at Ephesus. As he gives thanks first to the Heavenly Father and then to the Christ for the many blessings all receive as heirs to the throne of God, our true inheritance.

In God's Word: A Time to Come

February 13, 2019 - “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted,” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2) 

Time waits for no one but marches on toward the end of the age when all things will change and all things will be made right under the Lord.

February 4, 2019 - Each day when you rise and greet the day you see God's earthly creations in all the majesty with which they were created. Spoken into existence by the Almighty Lord God; "And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!" (Isaiah 6:3) Isaiahs description of the words of the angels he saw in a vision of the Lord.

January 28, 2019 - For all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior there is confidence, a confidence born in the knowledge of their own security gained through their acceptance of Jesus as their Lord and Savior and their obedience to him.

For on that day when each one accepts him as their Lord their relationship with the Father changes.

In God's Word: Simply Believe and Confess

January 15, 2019 - At the death of the great king, David, of Israel the Lord appointed his son, Solomon, to be the new king and to rule over the people of Israel.

In the night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask what I shall give you.” (2 Chronicles 1:7)

And Solomon responded to God, saying, “Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and to come in before this people, for who can govern this people of yours, which is so great?” (2 Chronicles 1:10)

In God’s Word: The End of the Age

December 31, 2018 - As Christians, followers of the Christ and children of the Most High God we all wait. We wait for the coming of the Lord in glory, we wait for the end of this age and the coming of the next, the age of The Kingdom of God on earth.

John the Beloved gives us a look into this time with his words from Revelation and the vision he had of the new heaven and the new earth.
