May 21, 2025 - Panola College is proud to announce the students named to the President’s List for the Spring 2025 semester.
To qualify for the President’s List, students must complete the semester with a GPA between 3.8 and 4.0 with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

May 7, 2025 - Panola College is proud to announce that five students were honored as West Texas A&M University Community College Scholars. The recipients are Olivia Blissett, David Garcia, Mackenzie Henson, Kendall Murry, and Christi Thompson.
These students were selected by Panola College as university-bound students who have shown to be persons of high integrity, motivated and hard-working, and in good academic standing. Panola College is proud to represent these students who have proven to be exemplary during their time at Panola College.
April 29, 2025 - Panola College welding technology hosted a high school welding competition on April 24 in the new Matthews Foundation Energy Building. This year’s event drew participation from 11 schools and showcased the skills of 45 talented students.
April 24, 2025 - Panola College is proud to congratulate Coach Jeff Collins on his induction into the prestigious ProRodeo Hall of Fame. The newly announced class of inductees includes standout athletes, trailblazers, and legends of rodeo.
April 16, 2025 - The Panola College Foundation hosted its annual Designer Purse Bingo fundraising event on April 4 at the Carthage Civic Center, attracting approximately 660 guests and raising a record-breaking $99,000 for student scholarships and program grants.
March 20, 2025 - The Panola College drama department delivered two exceptional performances at the 2025 Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association (TCCSTA) Playfest, securing over 35 awards for their outstanding productions of Dirt and The Sweet Science of Bruising.
