Panola College Offers Zumba® Gold

June 25, 2020 - Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Zumba® Gold. This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the older participant. 

The class will meet Monday and Wednesday: July 6thAugust 12th from 4pm – 5pm at the Shelby College Center. The cost of the class is $60 and pre-registration is required.

Panola College Opens Applications for CARES Grants

May 12, 2020 - Panola College is now accepting applications for the CARES Act Student Relief Fund grants that will provide direct financial support to students impacted by the coronavirus and COVID-19. The application is available on the Panola College website and will remain open until May 22, 2020. Funds will be dispersed after the application has closed and applicants have been verified.

Panola College announces President’s, Dean’s Lists

May 19, 2020 - Panola College proudly announces the names of those students named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the spring 2020 semester.
 
To qualify for the President’s List, students must complete the semester with a GPA between 3.8 and 4.0 with a minimum of 12 semester credit hours. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

Panola College Recognizes Spring 2020 Graduates

May 8, 2020 - Panola College had to cancel its 85th Commencement, which was planned for Thursday, May 7, because of COVID-19 and the social distancing rules in place. Spring Commencement recognizes 359 degree and certificate candidates.
 
“Under normal circumstances, we would see over 220 of those candidates walk across the stage to receive their diplomas with friends and family in the audience,” said Greg Powell, Panola College President.
