I am a Shelby County native. I grew up in Tennessee community, where I continue to reside with my wife and family. Having grown up in this area, I am familiar with the roads as well as my neighbors that live on them. I am proud to be from this area, and that is because of the kind of people that live here.
February 2, 2018 - My name is Tom Bellmyer and I am seeking the position of Shelby County Commissioner, Pct. 4. My family and I came to the Folsom Chapel area of Shelby County in 1963 and began our cow/calf and hay operation that I continue to run today.
December 20, 2017 - My name is Deborah Sharp and I am announcing my candidacy for Justice of the Peace in Shelby County.
I am a native of Center, Texas and a graduate of Center High School and Panola Junior College. I am married to Jimmy Sharp (Bimbo). In the past, I have worked for the United States Postal Service as a Sub rural Mail Carrier, and have also been employed by the Texas Department of Corrections - Bradshaw Unit as a Correctional Officer.
Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Candidate Randy Robertson expresses his appreciation to voters that came out and supported him in the Republican Primary Election. However, the race is not over. Randy will be involved in a primary run-off election on May 22. Remember, Shelby County needs strong full-time leadership in the Justice of the Peace, Precinct One position. February 6, 2018 - I am Margie Anderson and I am seeking a fifth term as Justice of the Peace Precinct 3. I have held this office since September 2004 when I was appointed and have held the position for four terms.
December 6, 2017 - My name is Tommy Moody and I would like to announce my candidacy for the office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 in the March 2018 Republican Primary. I am a lifelong resident of Shelby County, graduating from Center High School. My wife of 44 years is Linda McMahon Moody and we have one son, Brad, his wife Kaylyn and our 3 precious grandchildren, Macy, Gracie and Brayden. My parents are Freddie Moody and the late Dan Moody of Center.
