City of Tenaha Council Special Meeting Sept 12th Agenda

September 3, 2019 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Tenaha will be held on the 12th day of September 2019 at 5:30 pm at the City Hall, 238 North George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be discussed.

City of Tenaha Regular Meeting Agenda

August 23, 2019 - Notice is hereby given that the Regular Called meeting of the governing body of the City of Tenaha will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the City Council Meeting Room located at 238 N. George Bowers Drive in Tenaha, Texas.  If while in the meeting, any discussion on items on the Agenda should be held in executive session, the Council will convene in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code Section 551.101.

City of Tenaha Budget Second Workshop Set for August 22nd

August 20, 2019 - Notice is hereby given that a Workshop of the Governing body of the City of Tenaha will be held on the 22nd day of August, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Room of the City Hall located at 238 North George Bowers Drive Tenaha, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following item:

1. Work on the budget for the Fiscal Year 2019-2020.

2. Adjourn.

Sand Hill Water Supply Corporation Boil Water Rescinded (Update)

August 13, 2019 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Sand Hill Water Supply Corporation PWS ID NO. 2100013, to issue a Boil Water Notice on August 9, 2019, to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. 

Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

August 9, 2019 - Due to a break in the main water line causing low water pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Sand Hill Water Supply Corporation PWS ID NO. 2100013 public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions). 

City of Tenaha Boil Water Notice Rescinded

July 29, 2019 - On July 23, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Tenaha public water system, NO. 2100002, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

American Legion, Tenaha Businessmen's Club Hosts Annual 4th of July Celebration

June 28, 2019 - The American Legion and the Tenaha Businessmen’s Club will be hosting their annual 4th of July celebration. Thursday July 4, 2019 at the Tenaha ISD Raymond Jackson Stadium gates will open at 7:00 pm. Entertainment will include Mr. Waylon Moore and fireworks. The concession stand will be open along with Tenaha Together selling BBQ plates for $7.00. Plates will include chicken, potato salad, baked beans and bread. The Tenaha Senior Class of 2020 will provide drinks and snacks. Admission is free so bring a chair or sit in the stands.
