Humphries Reunion to Meet July 26

July 11, 2025 - The descendants of William Humphries will gather for the thirty-eighth annual reunion at Holy Trinity Global Methodist Church located at 13207 Orleans Street in Houston, Texas on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 11am to 2pm. This has been a change in location in the last few years. Our reunion will meet in odd years in the greater Houston area and even years in Center to honor our ancestral Shelby County homeplace. We ask attendees to bring covered dishes and a nominal gift for a fun gift exchange after the meal.

Humphries Reunion to Meet July 27th

July 8, 2024 - The descendants of William Humphries will gather for the thirty-seventh annual reunion at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM. This is a change in location in the last few years. The address is 500 Hurst Street (Hwy 96 at Arcadia Road). Those with accessibility challenges should enter using the front door ramp. We invite all the Humpries clan to come and share stories, pictures, laughter, and great food on July 27.

July 10, 2023 - The descendants of William Humphries will gather for their thirty-sixth annual reunion in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Center on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11am to 2pm. We invite all the Humphries clan to come and share stories, pictures, laughter and great food on July 29. Attendees are asked to bring covered dishes and a nominal gift for a fun gift exchange after the meal.

Humphries Reunion Set for July 31

July 8, 2021 - The descendants of William Humphries will gather for their thirty-fourth reunion in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Center on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 11am to 2pm. It has been over two years since we last gathered. The events of 2020 and 2021 have brought us keen appreciation for family relationships and shaper focus of priorities. We invite all the Humphries clan to come and share stories, pictures, laughter and great food on July 31.

2020 Humphries Family Reunion Cancellation Notice

July 13, 2020 - The 2020 Humphries Family Reunion originally scheduled for July 25 has been cancelled out of an abundance of caution due to Covid-19. Our rallying cry will be, “Wait ‘til next year,” assuming a vaccine/effective treatment makes it safe to “move about the country.” For planners in our group, next year’s reunion will be scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021. We will miss visiting in person this year but hope all will stay safe and well until we meet again.

Humphries Family 31st Reunion, July 30

July 25, 2016 - The descendants of William Humphries, Mary Ann Barr and Ellen Eliza McCauley will meet in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Center, Texas July 30th from 11 AM to 2 PM. The lunch bell rings at noon. Those attending should bring favorite covered dishes to be shared by all, tea, water or soft drinks, paper plates, napkins and flatware and a gift for a fun exchange.
