Center ISD Cancels Friday School Due to Water Issues

February 27, 2026 - After continued communication with the city regarding the main water line break, we have made the decision to cancel school for tomorrow.

Due to the uncertainty of when water service will be fully restored—and the citywide boil water notice that will be in effect once service resumes—we cannot ensure normal operations.

Most importantly, we cannot guarantee the level of sanitation and safety that our students and staff deserve.

February 13, 2026 - Twelve schools competed at the Center High School Valentine's Victories UIL tournament on February 13.
