Tri-County Community Action, Inc. Board Election

March 26, 2026 - Tri-County Community Action, Inc. Board Election for Representative of the Poor Region 2 Counties: Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9am to 1pm at Tri-County Community Action - Head Start, 1012 Partin Rd., San Augustine, Texas 75972 and on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 9am to 1pm at Tri-County Community Action, Inc., 507 Crawford Street, Center, Texas 75935.

Candidates on the Ballot are Triquina Polley, Brenda Smith, and Romonia Barnes.

Tri-County’s “Harvest for Homes” Produce Distribution This Wednesday

March 10, 2026 - Tri-County’s “Harvest for Homes” will hold its monthly produce distribution on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The distribution will take place at the opposite end of the Ivan Smith Furniture parking lot. The delivery truck typically arrives between 8am and 9am. We invite the community to come out and receive fresh produce. Please note that produce items vary each month, and we do not know what will be available until the truck arrives.

Volunteers are also needed and greatly appreciated!

Tri-County Community Action, Inc. Board Member Vacancies

February 5, 2026 - Tri-County Community Action, Inc. (TCCA) is seeking individuals to serve as Representatives of the Poor on its Board of Directors. Two (2) vacancies are currently available. One position will represent Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties. One position will represent Jasper, Newton, and Tyler Counties. Applicants must reside in one of the listed counties and be low-income or have recent, firsthand experience with poverty-related challenges. No prior board experience is required. Training will be provided.
