August 7, 2026 - The Short Cemetery Committee is currently updating cemetery records and seeking information on individuals who may have an interest in Short Cemetery located on CR 1005 off Highway 96 South of Center, Texas.
If you or someone you know has an interest such as a reserved burial slot, an unmarked burial plot or a permanent resting place within this cemetery, please reach out to a committee member to get current information added to our contact list.
October 7, 2025 - The Annual Short Cemetery Homecoming is set for Sunday, October 12th. Please make plans to attend and see the new progress being made at the cemetery. Lunch on the grounds at 12 noon. Help with the upkeep of the cemetery by making donations in person or mailing them to Short Cemetery, P.O. Box 915, Center, Texas 75935.
