June 8, 2017 - Shelbyville ISD will be accepting sealed bids for the sale of three used school buses and one Ford Crown Victoria car until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at the Shelbyville ISD Administration Office, FM 417 West, P.O. Box 325, Shelbyville, TX  75973. At that time the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids should be clearly marked “Bus Bids.” The bids will be awarded on July 10, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at the above address.

May 10, 2017 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group from the Huxley Community, are holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County. It will be held the second Saturday of May 2017. I.D. & proof of residence is required * only (1) box per household.

May 4, 2017 - Shelbyville High School is honored to announce Halie Lavergne as the 2017 recipient of the Smith-Hutson Scholarship. The Smith-Hutson Scholarship seeks to provide opportunities to students, who otherwise may not have a chance to earn a baccalaureate degree, the financial means to do so.
