March 3, 2026 - Shelbyville High School powerlifting results from the LCQ meet held on Wednesday, February 25th, in West Sabine, Texas are as follows.

Hunter Harvey, 148 Weight Class, 2nd Place w/930 lbs.
John Highnight, 165 Weight Class, 2nd Place w/1035 lbs.
Roland Young, 181 Weight Class, 3rd Place w/830 lbs.
Emanuel Cardena, 220 Weight Class, 2nd Place w/1130 lbs.
Carson Lee, 275 Weight Class, 1st Place w/1420 lbs.

The Regional Qualifiers are:

February 19, 2026 - Shelbyville students Maddie Lout, Travis Caporali, Gaylon Harrison, and Addi Sowell are headed to the state competition in cross-examination debate.

February 9, 2026 - Shelbyville Dragons' baseball scrimmage today at Central Pollok will now start at 5pm, one hour earlier, for Junior Varsity and Varsity.

January 28, 2025 - Shelbyville Dragon Baseball Scrimmage at Alto on January 31, 2026 has been canceled.

December 16, 2025 - Shelbyville ISD will be closed Wednesday, December 17 and Thursday, December 18 due to a flu outbreak across the district.

This closure is being taken out of an abundance of caution to help protect the health of our students and staff. We encourage everyone to take this time to rest and recover.
