CMS Students Adopt Houston-area School; Seeking Donations

September 4, 2017 - CMS Students ask for community donations to help supply a Houston-area school following hurricane Harvey.

CMS Junior Chamber of Commerce and Junior BETA Club have joined forces to adopt a school affected by the storm. Goodson Middle School, with a population of over 1200, is located in Cypress, Texas. CMS is planning to collect donations for the students to help in making the beginning of the school year a bit easier.

Center MS Volleyball Camp Starts July 31st

July 30, 2017 - Are You Ready??? Can you believe it, summer is almost over!! It's time to get ready for this year's winning volleyball season.

7th and 8th grades CMS Volleyball Camp is set for July 31st (Monday) through Aug 3rd (Thur) in the CMS Gym. Seventh graders are from 8am to 10am and eight graders are from 10:30am to 12:30pm. The cost is $15 which will go toward girls athletic game day shirt. Let's do big things this year!!!

My Sister, Myself - CMS Organization Empowers Young Girls

April 17, 2017 - Center Middle School Chapter of 'My Sister, Myself' organized January 25, 2017. It is an organization created out of a need to see young girls empowered as future leaders of our community. The Chapter's mission is to help young teenage girls build self-esteem, develop leadership skills, become role models for other teens their age and recognize the value of community service.

November 30, 2016 - Center Middle School Junior Chamber of Commerce members, along with JCC members from Shelby County schools, recently attended the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce 2016 JCC Leadership Conference.

Center MS Hosting Book Fair Starts Dec 5th

November 30, 2016 - Center Middle School will be hosting a book fair next week, December 5 through 9.

Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that provides the books kids want to read. It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level.

Reading for pleasure inside and outside of school has real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Please make plans to come to our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child's reading habits.
