2026-2027 ESSA Consolidated Application Meeting

April 2, 2026 - Joaquin ISD will be participating in the following Federal Programs during the 2026-2027 school year: Title I-Part A, Title I-Part C Migrant, Title II-Part A, Title III-Part A- LEP, Title IV, Part A, Carl D. Perkins – Title I, Part C and IDEA-B. 

January 28, 2026 - Joaquin ISD classes will resume tomorrow, Thursday, January 29th, beginning at the regular start time of 7:55am.

January 27, 2026 - Joaquin ISD will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th due to the winter storm. Stay tuned for updates.

December 10, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that on the 15th day of December 2025 the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a regular meeting at 6pm, at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.

October 16, 2025 - Joaquin ISD introduces the 2025 Homecoming court, club duchesses, and sweethearts. The Joaquin Rams will play their Homecoming game on Friday, October 17 against Hemphill with a 7:30pm game time. The homecoming coronation ceremony is at 7pm.

August 8, 2025 - The Joaquin ISD announced today it will operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the {2025-2026} school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
