One Center ISD Employee, Student Confirmed Positive for COVID-19

April 3, 2020 - CISD has been notified that one of our employees and a student has tested positive for COVID-19. Both individuals have been in self-quarantine for the last 8 days. The Department of Health and CISD are in the process of notifying those individuals with whom they came in contact with earlier. We believe, at this point, that contact was limited prior to the employee experiencing any symptoms. Our thoughts and prayers are with these individuals and their family.

Center ISD Community Must Work Together to Fight COVID-19

April 2, 2020 - Center Independent School District community must work together to fight COVID-19. Head to http://tea.texas.gov/staywell for vitally important public health guidance to stop the spread. If we stand apart as a community now, we will be together again soon.

March 27, 2020 - A Special Called Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center ISD will be held March 31, 2020, beginning at 5:30 PM in the Center Independent School District Administration Boardroom, 107 PR 605, Center, TX 75935.

Center ISD School Closure Through April 3rd

March 18, 2020 - After much thought and deliberation, Center ISD has decided to remain closed through April 3. We are making preparations for a continuity of instruction for our students and more information will be provided later today. Thank you for patience and understanding.

Center ISD District Provided Meals (Updated)

March 18, 2020 - Center ISD wants to make sure that all students have access to meals during the District’s closure. CISD is providing free grab-n-go breakfast and lunch meals at two locations in the District beginning on Thursday, March 19th. Adjustments to this schedule will be made as needed, so please check our webpage for new information.
