September 10, 2024 - Renny and Sara Eaves, longtime residents of Tenaha, Texas, are being inducted into the Tenaha ISD Hall of Honor. The 20th annual induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the TISD Cafetorium and will be announced during homecoming activities at the Tenaha versus Linden-Kildare homecoming game. Game time is 6pm.

August 30, 2024 - A Public Hearing to Discuss the 2024-2025 School District's Budget and the 2024 Proposed Tax Rate (I&S; M&O) of the Board of Trustees of Tenaha Independent School District will be held September 3, 2024, beginning at 5:15 PM in the Boardroom of the Administration Office 185 Tiger Drive, Tenaha, Texas 75974.

August 6, 2024 - The Tenaha ISD announced today it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
