Center Students to Feature Exhibit on Early Immigrant Groups

November 5, 2015 - The Intermediate Gifted and Talented students will be showcasing their recent research on various immigrant groups to early Texas. After many hours of research, these students have prepared written samples and created a museum exhibit to spotlight these groups and some of their cultures.

The students and I would like to share their presentations with you on Tuesday, November 10th from 5:00-6:00 pm in the Center Intermediate Library.

Senior Night at Roughrider Stadium

October 30, 2015 - Tonight, October 30, at Roughrider Stadium before the Riders take on the Pleasant Grove Hawks, we will be recognizing our Seniors in the Band, Chapparals, and Cheer Squad. The recognition will begin around 6 pm.

Roughrider Varsity Football Time Change

October 28, 2015 - Due to a strong chance for inclement weather, the start time for the Roughrider Varsity Football game this Friday, October 30, 2015 has been moved up to 7:00 p.m. Stadium gates will open for fan entrance beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Center HS Varsity Cross Country Qualifies

October 27, 2015 - The entire CHS Varsity Cross Country team qualified for the state championship, which will be held on November 7, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. The team placed 4th out of 23 teams.

Center ISD Regional Cross Country Qualifiers

October 22, 2015 - Our Regional Cross Country Qualifiers will be traveling to Huntsville, Texas on Sunday, October 25, 2015 where Sam Houston State University will be hosting the 2015 UIL Region III Cross Country Championships.

Races will take place at Kate Barr-Ross Park located at 486 State Hwy 75 North, Huntsville, Texas 77340.

Divsion 4-A Girls' race to begin at 9:40 a.m, Boys' race at 10:10 a.m.

Center HS Cross Country District Champions

October 16, 2015 - The entire CHS Varsity boys cross country team took 7 of the 10 qualifying spots for the regional meet. Girls Cross Country contestant, Illiana Rojas, placed 7th and qualified individually.

Center ISD Announces 2015 Homecoming Court

October 7, 2015 - Center ISD announces the 2015 Homecoming Court Duchesses, Sweethearts and Beaus. Homecoming game will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at 7:30pm. Pre-game will be at 7pm. Homecoming parade will be held Saturday, October 10th at 4pm.

Poultry Festival Wrap-Up from Center Ag and FFA

October 5, 2015 - This past Saturday 97 student exhibitors from across the county participated in the 38th annual Poultry Festival by exhibiting their pen of "3 birds". Students began 6 weeks ago with 30 newly born chicks in hopes of feeding, watering, and growing them better than the rest. After 6 long weeks of working hard, students (with help of teachers and community members) picked 3 of the best (biggest) birds to show at Poultry Festival.

CMS Homecoming Week

October 5, 2015 - To show pride during homecoming week, students of Center Middle School are encouraged to dress up for theme days. Please ensure that all outfits are in compliance with the school dress code.
