May 27, 2016 - A new campaign from the Texas Department of State Health Services reinforces what people can do to “not give Zika a biting chance” this summer. The campaign, which launches today, features public service announcements on radio and television along with online and outdoor ads reminding people they should prevent Zika by removing standing water, keeping mosquitoes out of their homes and preventing mosquito bites.
October 15, 2015 - Texas students gathered at the State Capitol today to declare, “Drugs Aren’t My Style,” as part of the 18th annual Red Ribbon Rally. Wearing rally T-shirts and sunglasses, more than 1,100 fifth- and sixth-graders pledged not to abuse drugs.
