February 13, 2025 - Good Morning! It’s Thursday, February 13.
Most of the words in my daily devotions are, obviously, my words. I almost always include at least one scripture verse, but, even so, His words are usually in the minority. I often consider whether that ratio should be reversed. Well, at least for today, it is. Here are some words from The Word.
Proverbs 11:25 - A generous person will prosper; they who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
I Corinthians 16:13 - Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be of good courage; be strong.
Ephesians 2:10 - For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
2 Corinthians 5:21 - God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
Psalm 19:14 - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Proverbs 27:19 - As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Isaiah 42:10 - Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
