Norman Gayle McDonald, Jr., 60 of Garrison, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was born on September 9, 1965 in Center, Texas, the son of Barbara Chandler McDonald and Norman Gayle McDonald, Sr..
Funeral services will be held at 2pm, on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Garrison Funeral Home, with Bro. E.J. Adams and Bro. Tuffy Green officiating. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1pm.
Norman Gayle McDonald, Jr. was raised in Garrison, where he always called home. His family roots run deep in the small town and Norman was happy to be a part of such a close-knit community of folks that always stayed true to the meaning of “The Biggest Little Town In Texas.” Having friends and family that remained where their life began and lived amongst each other in the area of East Texas, always keeping in touch and supporting everyone was something Norman was proud of. He loved all the things about East Texas. He also had quite the knack for building things, which took up most of his time. However, if asked, he would tell you that his family was the best part of him and the one thing that he knew he got right. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Timpson.

Services are under the direction of Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Texas.
